Youth Ministry

Connell Memorial UMC Youth Mission Statement

We are passionate about building a loving and accepting community that serves others by spreading and learning about the word of God throughout the community.

Key Values

“And without Faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” Hebrews 11:6

-As a youth group we will build faith in each other, while staying faithful to God throughout all situations, good or bad.

“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:21

-We are passionate about coming together and growing closer through learning and spreading the Word of God.

“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

-We are a community of Christ driven individuals who value fellowship while forming leaders to grow the Kingdom of God.
