Our Story

Connell Memorial United Methodist is a church with roots reaching back to the founding of Goodlettsville at Mansker's Station in 1779.  With deep roots in the community, we are constantly looking forward to a continuing the care that has been the hallmark of our congregation through its storied and faithful history.

Our mission, "to reach out to nurture this community in love" drives our ministry of nurture, worship, service and fellowship as we offer Christ to our community.  We invite you to become a part of this mission.  It is the heart of Connell Memorial United Methodist Church!

Worship is at our center, and together we proclaim the Lord Jesus as the redeemer of our world, seeking to lift his name above all other names that seek to claim our allegiances.  Nurturing our families through Sunday School, Bible Study and other growing opportunities supports our worship opportunities.  Finally, we seek to help you learn to reach out to the community through our community events and our mission opportunities.

To learn more about our mission and outreach, please contact one of our pastors.  We would love to help you express your faith and to live it out in our community of faith.
